Sclerotherapy uses injections to close off unwanted blood vessels. The injected solution causes inflammation and clotting, shrinking the vein. The body then naturally replaces the vein with scar tissue.
How Fibrovein Works
Fibrovein is a sclerosing agent that damages the inner lining of the vein (endothelium), triggering the body's healing response. This leads to blood clotting within the vein, forming a hard clot (sclerothrombus) that eventually turns into scar tissue, effectively closing the vein.
Treatment Results & Aftercare
Results vary. Some veins disappear completely, others fade, and some may remain unchanged. Expect a 60-80% improvement overall, but this might take 2-3 months to fully appear. Multiple treatments (2-4) are usually necessary, spaced 4 weeks apart.
